Parking issue

Hi. I’m 25F. Recently bought a flat. Residents and owners can have 1 regular car and an occasional visitor spot. Unallocated car park. Over the year I’ve noticed-

  • people who live across the road (houses with their OWN driveway) park on my flat car park because they either have 2 cars and no space on their own drive or no space on on-street parking.
  • landlord renting out their space unofficially on some dodgy website and charging by the hour so a lot of random cars there.
  • damaged lux cars (BMW, Merck and Audi) parked there with no MOT
  • damaged Vans with no MOT, no SORN and a recall.

called my factor- unable to help. Called for P4 parking permit (annual fee of £1/ per year) not enough votes only 40% voted yes, some either didn’t reply or voted no. Factor said nothing they can do.

called the police to investigate- they agreed it’s strange and passed onto DVLA or council. Either council/DVLA put a sticker on to say remove these cars.

After a few months vehicles removed but only for a few months. Then (likely the same person) now parked another damaged Merck and damaged Van there.

Not only that, the damaged cars takes up 2 spaces each, doesn’t park within the lines.

im at a lost here. I’m a young female. I work in a hospital and have to be on call or late shift. After coming home, I sometimes cannot find parking and have to park 2 streets down and walk home at 11pm. I pay factor fee, some ground rent, and I don’t even get to park there (that I paid for) Whereas people across the road have their own drive and still park on ours.

im so frustrated about this. is there really nothing else I can do?

The rules are we need a diagram ;-)

I assume that spaces are not marked per flat? If not could that be done?

Can you block in the cars that shouldn't be there?
