Hoping for some guidance on the new style form that's now used. Think I've cracked the first part, but some of those answers you might not be sure if without asking your solicitor.
The one one stuck on is 17 in the main form asking about alterations. When I've sold before it's only asked what I've done I think the new style is asking about all alterations. If that's correct how do I really know what someone done before me, obviously extensions but other works maybe and dates.
Hoping some of you seasoned sellers buyers can advise.
I've not engaged my solicitor yet, I was sending all back together, so can't get advice if I haven't signed my contract with them with the ID.
Confused and confused X

You can only answer what you know. List any alterations you know about, any you don't isn't for you to flag.

However, did you not find out about previous works when you purchased the property?

Last owner kids of the family, they were going to rent it so put in their names from parents.
Old style form was what alterations you have made I seem to remember not others before🤔.

Think I might put extensions because that is obvious and maybe something like works may off been done in the original building but I wasn't the owner at that time to confirm.
