Just that really, we went on the market in October and are on our second onward purchase (our choice) and third potential buyer (not our choice!). Nothing has gone horribly wrong but I can’t shake the feeling we’re being naive. Tips please, from solicitors to dealing with buyers and surveys etc!

I'm curious as to why you say nothing has gone horribly wrong when you're on your second purchase and third buyer? I'd class that as things going less than smoothly!

What reasons were there for the re-dos?

Sorry, I should have said! Our first buyers pulled out due to issues on the survey (we don’t think they are issues but the usual flagged - electrics, gas) but they didn’t know how to read the report and got scared, our second were buying to rent and they ‘over committed’. We’re on our second purchase as they went back on the market when we lost our first buyers and in the meantime we found somewhere better suited to us. So yes, I guess not smooth at all!

We now have a homebuyers survey for our own property and I have offered it to our new buyers for free to save time and weed out perceived issues early on 🤷‍♀️
