Does anybody know what style of roof this is?

Hi, I was wondering if anybody had an idea of what type of roof this is/experience with a loft conversion with a similar roof? Considering this property but we'd eventually want to do a dormer loft - not sure if it's amenable with this type of roof or if it was if it would be a much bigger job/cost than a standard loft conversion given the different aspects of the roof. The higher roof (over the red house) is a hipped roof. (Angled / towards the ridge)

The roof over the white part is gable ended (a flat | end)

I think a dormer extension is going to be a more extensive build on the hipped roof as normally the roof has to be built out from / to | end in order to get enough space in the roof for a proper room.
