Poor water pressure

I live in a rented home. Our shower is an in bath one, the water pressure is so bad I struggle to wash my hair properly as I feel like the shampoo is still left in so it never drys right and looks greasy, even after rinsing for 10 minutes. Is there anything I can do?

You may have a water leak, contact your water provider and they'll send someone out to check if you have a leak.

Get a short haircut?

I'm struggling with this in a house I've just bought.
I've been told we may need a pump in the loft as it's gravity fed for our showers.
Still waiting for the actual plumber to visit and deal with the issues...but that's another story!

Fill the washbasin with warm water, and use a jug to rinse your hair over the bath. I do that anyway because I don't like washing my hair in the shower.

I know this place is full of experts, but I honestly do work in the water industry. There maybe a leak on your supply or on a nearby property. Give them a call, it costs you nothing and they can do pressure testing. That would do before spending any of my money.

What's the water pressure like at your kitchen cold tap?
If the pressure is poor there call the water company. If it's fine there and poor at the shower call a plumber.
