Repairing timber window

I have a timber windows and the outside sill on the bay is rotting and needs replacing. The frame itself is fine. I'm not at all good at DIY. Who would be able to repair this? A carpenter? An odd jobs man/woman? A window company?

I think it might be too small a job for the latter, but it feels as though it may be a bit specialised for a general handyman.

A carpenter or compliant odd job person should be able to do it. Why is it rotten, are the gutters ok above it?

We got an odd job man in. He was pretty competent and we'd had recommendations. Then painted it up. All still fine when we dold 10 years later.

Thanks, yes gutters seem fine. It's just where two pieces join at the angle of the bay. Possibly not sealed properly when first done
