We got a 25 yr warranty for flat roof terrace repairs done 5 years ago. All good at the time but we think there may now be a leak into bedroom below.
I called the roofer months ago and he finally made appointment to check it out but cancelled minutes before time. I have messaged him several times since, can see the messages are read but have had no response.
Checked companies house and he is sole director.
Am I right in thinking that we’ll have to suck this up and get someone else to look at it?
If it turns out that his works have failed and are the cause of leaks I suppose we could try to pursue him then although it’s likely to be a headache.
Has anyone had similar with ‘warranties’?
