How is Welling (Upper Wickham Lane)?

Planning to move in the block of flats above TFC on Upper Wickham Lane. I would like to get some first hand feedback on the area - looks nice on the face of it with a Lidl, Morrisons and Tesco Extra right next door as well as a rather expansive high street gives a good vibe. Keen to get people's opinion on the safety and the general vibe of the area.

I grew up in Welling . The high street is dire now , loads of barbers and nail bars. Bexleyheath is better and just down the road.
don't think it's any less safe than most towns in the UK.
