Best renovation resources

We've just completed on the purchase of a big renovation project. It's a victorian property with a couple of shonky extensions. We'll be doing a full refurb on the interior and also possibly extending / remodelling.

Can anyone suggests forums / websites / resources that you have found particularly useful?

If you’re extending then find a local architect. They can help with drawings of all the technical stuff and coordinate across the house leaving you to do the more fun decorating parts/spec. Ideally someone that people you know have used. Or that has 3 good references with finished projects. Not someone who has just set up on their own. Not someone looking to do marvel projects for their portfolio at your expense (unless that’s what you want of course!). If possible someone who can do the planning, building regs and any drainage permits etc as part of their fee. Good luck
