Hi everyone,

We have a small narrow room which used to be a garage but we've had it converted to a small living space/study. The room is 4.5m long and 2.5m wide. The room has low ceilings as its a new build

We had this radiator cover attached to one of the longer walls but I am not sure what to put above it. The radiator cover is 175cm wide. I tried a long rectangular mirror which was about 145cm wide but it just didn't look right.

Could a large circle mirror work? And how big would it have to be? I'm worried that if its too large, it will look too big for the room, especiallh as we have low ceilings. Another option could be some frames? I'm just not sure.

I have attached a pic. Please note I've taken this pic whilst sat on the sofa opposite the radiator.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks.

That’s about the size of my fireplace and I have a round mirror above it, it’s about 165 cm in diameter. It works well in a long narrow room. What colour is the room?

Thanks. The wall.color is dulux timeless and I have a navy sofa in there. I'm thinking of accessories using gold accents.

Oh that looks lovely - the mirror and the cat! If you don't mind me asking where is the mirror from?

Thank you! The mirror was from John Lewis about 7-8 years ago.

And it’s on sale!

Hi, all I'm still struggling to fill the wall above my radiator cover. I tried the mirror suggestion and ordered 2 mirrors one with 100cm diameter and one with 120. They both look too big because the room is quite narrow. I can see also see myself in the mirror when im sat on the sofa opposite the wall, which is off putting.

I'm now thinking if I should consider wall art. As the room is quite small and narrow, what size would work best. I don't want anything g that will look like it's overpowered the room.

Thanks.
