We was planning to sell but hadn’t yet listed our house. A house so specific to our needs and future plans popped up, we viewed, loved it was told we could make an offer to leave on the table until we at least listed our house. Listed it got an offer from the first viewing, accepted but by then our dream home was already gone. We even tried offering 15k over their offer but the vendor wanted to continue with their buyer.
So gutted. This was 4 weeks ago and the current market is dead so not one property even close to being suitable has come up in that time. Every house will be compared to this house and won’t even come close.
