Putting cupboard door on shelves - how do you measure? Easy to do?

I'm thinking of ordering made to measure cupboard doors for these shelves. Any advice on measuring or things to think about would be appreciated!

You need a door frame first which is what the hinges attach to. Flat timber all the way round and then add some square timber as a door stop. Take a good look at other doors in your house and you will get the idea.
