Should you get your roof inspected to check it's ok as routine?

if there’s no sign of damp in the loft and no musty smell then don’t get your roof checked. If you do, you will definitely be told that it needs replacing! My roof was apparently on its last few months when I bought this house. Three years later and it’s absolutely fine with all the winds and rains

No, but I do do my own visual check from outside after a big storm.
