Moving kitchen into dining room. Thoughts on this plan would be appreciated.

My plan is to move kitchen into dining room and then put the original kitchen as a utility shower/downstairs toilet. What are your thoughts on this?

2 internal corners impact storage, is there a reason you want to do this?

I'd reverse the door at the bottom of the stairs so it opens against the wall to improve the flow for walking around the table.

I would avoid having wall cupboards as they will make the room darker and seem smaller. I assume you only have a small window.

Thanks for your helpful replies. The door will be rehung as you suggest. The window is large 95cm width by 140cm height and I'll be putting a semi glazed door to the utility room. I've basically used the same layout as it is now - kitchen is in the proposed utility room. The dining room gets a lot of sun in the afternoon.
