Colours to match a victorian floor

We've uneathered a victorian floor in our hallway! So excited! We have panelling in there and I was planning white on the bottom and sage green on the top. I'm not sure if it will still work? Any ideas on painted colours instead? It gets very little natural light. It's more red than in the picture! Thanks so much

I'd go with the beige colour in the yellow tile. May be oxford stone ( farrow and ball).
How exciting, I'd love those in my terrace.

We have similar floor and white panelling. Where you appear to have pale rectangualar tiles ours are more yellow, so we matched the yellow for the walls above the white panelling.
