Sharps wardrobe

Finally getting our master bedroom repainted and sorted and need fitted wardrobes for the whole of one wall - this will be made up of 3 double and 1 single wardrobe floor to ceiling (high ceilings around 9ft ). Had a Sharps guy round very nice but inside cupboards I think very simple for the £8k price tag though I appreciate everything is pricey these days.
Shaker style doors brushed brass contemporary knobs, 1 double set has two hanging rails so for shirts etc one has drawers and sliding shoe racks and 1 part full length hanging and half with 2 rails again for shorter items and final single wardrobe has couple of drawers then shelving. There is high level shelving above the wardrobe hanging elements.
They build on to your wall so no backs. Mirror inside 1 of the doors.
Is there anywhere else I should check seems a big £ although joking started off nearly twice that before they apply their many offers. I fk not want to buy IKEA ones and get fitted as I don’t think their quality lasts - maybe I’m wrong?
Would love any feedback on their quality.
We are based in London.
thanks !

Get more quotes. I ended up with Hammonds about 1k less than Sharps.

Sharps are extortionate! I would get some quotes from carpenters. I certainly wouldn't pay that much for something to hang my clothes in.

My carpenter (my dad is one but retired and old now which I'm gutted about) built 2 alcove units, a bath panel, stair bannisters & spindles, cupboards underneath stairs and in total cost me just over £3,000 I did have to paint it myself though but I'm a good painter. Definitely get at least 3 quotes.

We used Hammonds for 2 rooms and carpenter for the other. The carpenter’s haven’t been painted yet but Hammonds was so smooth I wish they had done them all.

we had sharps round and they were rude and pushy and much more expensive. Hammonds all the way!

We had hammonds in our old house, after about 8 years the coating of drawers started to split, one of the wardrobe doors faded and although within the guarantee they said tough! We have had sharpes this time and tonnes better, brilliant (not pushy) salesman, great installer and similar price to hammonds, you get guarantee and as our house is a bit quirky they fit perfectly and would get them out again. Definitely won’t be using Hammonds ever again.

I got Sharpes for our master bedroom about 15 years ago. Bloody lovely and have lasted ages.

Find a local carpenter/joiner - I had a quote about a year ago for one wall of wardrobes plus bedside drawers/dressing table and it was just over £4k

Howdens do wardrobes now. You just need a local tradesperson to fit it. Very good quality and they come with a good wardrobe back, unlike sharps.
