Integrated dishwasher problems

We have an integrated dishwasher but have had to remove the front piece as the steam and hot water has warped the mdf so badly. The kitchen is over 10 years old and we won't be able to buy a replacement piece, does anyone know what we could do to sort this very annoying issue out? The kitchen looks awful!

When you say "front piece" you mean the cabinet door or something else ?

10 years old is not awful for a kitchen. Mostly they last 10-15 years. So if you are looking for a new/used door you are in prime replacement time on the auction sites. Just search for cabinet doors.

I am looking for a 20 year old replacement door at the moment. It is hard but one will come up eventually. I have seen doors but as part of entire second hand kitchens that I don't need. Just have to be patient.

Sorry yes the cabinet door @GasPanic . I just meant the kitchen looks really bad without the door on the dishwasher. I will have a look on auction sites and hope something comes up, thank you!

IKEA and some dishwasher manufacturers can supply stainless steel decor panels to use instead of an integrated door.

As an alternative, you could change the front doors on all your bottom cabinets, which is a very popular way to update your entire kitchen.

You could buy a new, non integrated dishwasher? I did this when my integrated one died. Just had to cut the plinth either side and slot the new dishwasher in (double checking that it would fit, of course!)
