Has anyone painted a upvc door?

I hate my white upvc door but can’t afford to replace it. I have seen upvc paint and plan to have a go. Any tips?

roller or brush?

Yes! I did it with Frenchic first, it didn't last very well.
Then last year I used Rustoleum UPVC paint, with their recommended brush, it's covered very well, looks like a new front door.

Thanks. Yes I thought I would use that brand.

Have seen it done a few times although mine is still white, will probably do at some point.

Zinsser Allcoat is really good for this too.

Our neighbour did with UPVC paint and I thought it would never work - but it did and she has a lovely black door now!

We used a company that sprays UPVC windows and doors (there are several around).

Did mine 3 years ago with frenchic. The composite door was black to start with. It’s held up beautifully.

I’ve also used it on wooden stairs, bathroom tiles, downstairs bathroom tiled floors, upvc windows inside and out..

it’s always been fine if done in the right temp (below 10 degrees can effect the curing process) and the prep work was adequate.

I painted ours with an exterior satin paint and it held up really well for years

Our front door was brown, but because it's in direct sunlight it faded in part. I used Zinsser All Coat Exterior Satin and it came out beautifully. 2 years on and looks as good as the day I did it.
I've also done the rear patio doors and plastic patio furniture with the same paint. It's fabulous stuff.
