Moving to Surrey

DH, DCs and I are moving to Weybridge in a few months. Can anyone help with advice on local groups (WhatsApp or Facebook) I can join to settle in faster and be more involved in the local community? While I'm here, can anyone recommend their favourite cafes, restaurants and pubs in Weybridge, Walton-on-Thames and the surrounding area? Thanks.

Have you tried searching in Facebook groups? Usually, if you type in the place name you'll find them easily enough. We've joined about 3 for the area we are moving to. You soon figure out which are the good ones and which are slightly bonkers 😂. Also, try Reddit as we found a local community on there too, although it's less active than the FB ones.
