Selling home - what to spruce up?

I'm gearing up to sell to move house. Just me and DC. We are in a wealthy area of SW London so I want to match the other lovely homes on the market to get the best price. House is a shit tip usually with stuff everywhere so I would like a spruce up before going on the market. Please give me some ideas on what to prioritise?

Kitchen-diner is very modern already but needs a good tidy up. Bathroom is due a re-fit as it's probably 10 years old but I don't want to waste money on that. Rest of the house it's mainly cosmetic. All flooring, windows and front door are new in the last 2 years.

I'm thinking some smart new storage and wardrobes to begin with at least to hide the junk. Any other ideas?

Declutter first, then declutter again and it will give you a better idea of anything that needs doing. I wouldn’t do anything to the bathroom, other than ensure it sparkles and some cosmetic touches like new towels, posh hand soap etc.

If you declutter, you might find that the storage you have is adequate, but if you need to get something, make it portable, so you can take it with you. People hide things in the boot of the car, under the bed, or in wardrobes.

A clean, pleasant smelling home, with no clutter is more likely to appeal. Make sure the outside space is tidy, garden weeded, plants in pots for kerb appeal.
