Load bearing wall removal costs

Hi!

New to Mumsnet.

I was just wondering whether anyone has had the wall knocked from dining room to kitchen? There's already an opening (door frame size) and we will need about 1.5 metre cut.

This would include the movement of one light socket, 3 double plug sockets and the drainage for the washing machine!

Any rough estimates of those who have had similar done?

We are in the North West- Merseyside

Approx 4 years ago I paid £2600 for wall with another £6/700 for building regs and structural engineer report.

Involved removal of wall and radiator, steel, skip and making good.

NW England

I was quoted £4K - £5K to take out a load bearing wall and make all secure. That was last year in the South of England.
Moving the radiator and electrics would have been on top. That was building work only.
We decided against it.
