Looking for property up to 275,000 between derby and Doncaster due to me and my partner working in these locations.
Needs to have 3 decent size rooms and off street parking.
Can anyone help,with suggestions?

Thank you

That's a pretty wide question - you're talking about travelling from South Yorkshire, through Nottinghamshire and into Derbyshire.
I'd suggest somewhere alongside the M1.
Do you want city, town or village? You could have Peak District dry stone walls or city centre apartment with that geographical range!

Are you commuting by car or train? That will affect suggestions.

Hi, We are open we just want a nice area that's somewhere in the middle. With the size we need and low crime and near to amenities.

No one area is low crime. I used to live in a Derbyshire village (high crime) and now live in inner city Nottm (low crime in 3 years. Well, none!)

There's some lovely new builds in Sutton in Ashfield near the Kings Mill Hospital.

Thank you for your suggestion I would not consider sutton in Ashfield as a nice area though. We are familiar with Mansfield.

Ravenshead.
Farnsfield
These have a quick A614 A1 M18 route.
Underwood is a village at M1 J27 but closer to derby.
Teversal pretty but maybe expensive.
Tansley nr Matlock and around there.
Bakewell and villages
Ask a Chesterfield estate agent for the nice bits and local villages.
Still not sure if you want urban or rural - there's a BIG difference in Derbyshire.

Farnsfield and ravenshead are lovely but I'd struggle to find 3 double bedrooms below 280. Matlock is a bit too far to travel to Doncaster. Hence why we're stuck on areas lol

Sheffield and catch the train to Derby?

Peasnbeans · 16/01/2025 23:32

Clowne is nice.
New Tupton.
If you look at Sheffield like the centre of a clock there's lots about twenty/ twenty five past.
