Chapel house Newcastle

I am a single parent with a toddler and looking to move to chapel house area. What is the area like for families and is there anywhere/any streets in this area to avoid. Is there any other areas that would be better to look at? I need to be close to good schools and close enough to commute to Newcastle City Centre. I have a budget of £230,000

Chapel house is lovely, also chapel Park. Westerhope, Dumpling Hall and parts of West Denton are similar to those. Heddon on the wall is really nice but more rural and expensive! Avoid lemington, Newbiggan Hall, Benwell etc I would say. Oh, Kingston park may be a good place to look too!
