Just posting here really because I'm driving myself mad with my own thoughts and hopes.
Trying so hard not to get hopes up.
Live in a LOVELY location within a village. Love the location, never want to leave it. However don't like our house. Bought in Jan 2020, needed a lot of DIY, Covid hit, baby arrived, DIY didn't get finished. Now with second kid around and things on the DIY front are slow.
Lots of fundamental issues with the house, and have realised it will take a lot to make it my forever home.
So a few months ago I put a couple of notes through doors of a few select houses I like in the village that match our location. Lo and behold one replied a few days ago.
It's 4 doors down from us. But totally different era of house. Much larger outside space. Love it.
They are viewing a property tomorrow and then will let me know if they are going to get theirs valued / consider selling.
I am just SOOOOOOO hopeful their viewing goes well. I have doubt that it will. But I soooooo would love to buy their house.
