Boiler pressure too high

Bled my radiators yesterday, after doing so the boiler pressure was really low (almost at 0) so added some pressure up to just before 2, but this morning it’s gone up to just before the 3 (and the 3 has the red line)

How do I reduce the pressure to a safe level?

It will drop naturally. It has an overflow type function. Just make just you've not left it filling a tiny bit. I did that once!

Is the heating on? It goes up when the boiler is fired up.

You can let a little water out of a radiator in the same way you bled it. Have a towel to catch it.

Filling to 2 was possibly a little high. 1.5 is normally advised. Agreed that pressure increases when on.

Thanks for the quick replies!
yes heating is on at the moment.
will let some water out once the radiator is off and cools down
