Moving to the South of England

We are a family of 3 with a baby, currently in the North West. We are considering moving to the South of England due to better weather, opportunities and proximity to London. We have lived in Cambridgeshire in the past and loved it there, but would prefer to live somewhere with more interesting nature.
We both work from home. Good schools and family friendly environment are very important to us. We would ideally like to live somewhere within an hour and a half to London with public transport.
We are considering Oxfordshire, but as we could technically live anywhere (because of job flexibility) and want the next place to be where we stay, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with where would the best place for us be.
Thank you for any input.

What about around the New Forest say the Hampshire part, or thereabouts. It's beautiful and it has excellent train links into London Waterloo.
