Barnes residents - advice on buying

I’m thinking to view some mansion flats in Castlenau just off the Hammersmith Bridge. I’d be grateful for any insights into what it’s been like for residents living there since the bridge closure. I know no traffic is allowed across the bridge, but it looks like property prices have been affected (could be the general market conditions also).

I live not on that street but nearby. Don’t count on crossing the river easily by car - it’s probably 10 mins to either of the neighbouring bridges at weekends, and I would guess more on weekdays. But that road is now lovely and nearly traffic free. If you’re happy to walk, cycle or get the train, or else stick mostly south of the river, it’s probably great.

BTW there’s still no budget for properly fixing the bridge so don’t assume it will all be fixed in the next three years.
