DIY Kitchens - hacks for ultimate premium inframe look

Hi MN kitchen experts!

I'm looking at the DIY Helmsley kitchen for my next refurb. Considered it before but ultimately went for something more bespoke which was an unmitigated disaster so now I am back with my tail between my legs.

I seem to recall seeing hints from back then as to how you could achieve the Dvl look on the pan drawers, i.e. having flat slab fronted drawers rather than the rather busy looking shaker drawers, but still inframe. But I now can't work out how. Can anyone help?

Also, I seem to remember some tips as to how to get the insides/larder cupboards, etc looking more premium. Is there another third party that does compatible dovetail drawer inserts or something?

TIA!

Also pics of your pimped up Helmsley kitchens are very welcome!
