I moved in November from a flat in a busy area with lots going on to a flat in a close away from the road and very quiet. I have always lived on my own and now find myself feeling very isolated and lonely. My parents don't live far away neither do my sisters but I'm not feeling like I will ever get used to this flat. I suffer with anxiety. How long do you think it can take to get used to a new flat?

I'm not sure that a flat would contribute to a person feeling lonely. People who don't mix with others can feel lonely in a house, bungalow, or any other property, and in a busy area or quieter one.

What do you do, with other people, over and above your parents and sisters?
