Kitchen cupboard doors & worktops - replacing to freshen up kitchen

Has anyone just replaced their kitchen cupboard doors and/or worktops to freshen up an old kitchen?

I’m looking to do this on a budget until we can save for a new kitchen so I’m looking for recommendations please.

I’ve already painted the doors twice to freshen it up plus new handles but now just want to replace them completely. We think the current doors are IKEA, but whatever they are they are old, plain and cheap and absolutely look like they are.

Yes I've done this. Measure all your doors and drawers and look online for kitchen door replacement companies. Many do customized sizes if your IKEA doors aren't standard or maybe IKEA do doors without having to buy the whole carcass? I also got replacement soft close hinges. Decide what kind of worktops you want to compliment the doors & shop around online. I replaced one basic worktop run that was straightforward but got a kitchen fitter in to fit new hob & sink into the new worktops. I'm trying to remember what replacement door company I used, think it was the kitchen door workshop but will need to check.

If it is IKEA you can buy just the doors, pretty cheaply. It's worth going in to a store as some look cheap, but others look quite expensive. If it's IKEA carcasses you could also potentially swap some doors to drawers etc as the size might still be the same (but check!)

Other companies make doors to fit but they tend to be a lot more expensive, you'll find a range just by googling.
