Bangs waking up toddler

We have just moved into our new house and have noticed several loud bangs throughout the early morning which I think coincides with the hot water coming on. It is waking up and scaring our toddler. What could it be and what can we do to fix it?

Not being facetious, but have the hot water heat up in the evening, it should still be hot enough for morning showers.
Has the system been serviced recently?
I'm a martyr to my hotwater and heating. I had a new system fitted a couple of years ago and it still has a mind if it's own and the boiler is directly below my bed so I get woken by it.

We have recently moved and I was confused by banging until I realised it was our washing machine in the garage but it's very loud everywhere inside. It didn't make a noise at all in our other house.

Air in the pipes?

Bleed your radiators and top up the system

Proably loose pipes banging on floorboards. Pinpoint the noise then lift the boards.
