That’s weird

YesThatsATurdOnTheRug · 20/12/2024 01:20

Goes from freehold to
leasehold and back again, that will be relevant

RatMouseVole · 20/12/2024 01:22

It's probably confusing the basement flat and the main house above it

GabrielOakRose · 20/12/2024 01:24

Is it because sometimes it's been just the flat, then converted to the whole house or 2 floors, then back again

CautiousLurker01 · 20/12/2024 01:59

Yep. Was previously flats, with the sale prices of the individual flats of those showing… now been reverted to a family dwelling (planning permission to do so granted in 2009, apparently).

You can check this on the planning portal. Take a couple of minutes…

Our house was apparently sold for £48k a few years before we bought it but the reality was that the owners had lived there for 40 years.

The house we lived in before was semi-detached: if you look ours up it's classed as terraced, but the semi attached to ours is classed as detached!

So, could be an error, or maybe some legal/finance issue that classes it as a 'sale'?

I think sometimes when there is a divorce or probate sale, and someone is paying half the value to buy someone else out, it can make things look a bit funny.

Agree in this case though, it seems to be the conversion back to a house from flats.

No worries - I am a bit of an internet sleuth (always like to see all the data on the Omaze houses 🤣) so have learned you can literally google a postcode/address with ‘planning applications’ and it takes you to the local borough site and you can see everything!
