Where do you buy light fixtures?

I need to replace a broken light fixture. I've looked in John Lewis as well as Dunelm and B&Q locally but can't quite find what I'm looking for. Where else are good places to look? Not looking for anything fancy or antique, just something that will fit in a particular location and not look ugly.

M&S is suprisingly good for lights!

I've struggled to find lights ever since BHS bit the dust. Next is sometimes ok, otherwise I tend to stick to JL and M&S.

We bought our lounge lights from B&Q , my sister has lots from Next .

I've just bought a new sitting room ceiling light from Very. They had a lot of nice lights in stock.

Try Moy Lighting in NI. I think they post to the rest of the uk. I got my hall and landing chandeliers there and they are beautiful.

I quite like this shop for lighting.

Type in the style you want into google and loads will come up. I was looking at Jim Lawrence for a particular style then just googled the style itself and got them for a third of the price from another company.

You want Houseof which was set up by some of the lighting designers from BHS. They have a sale on at the moment as well.

I found some great options on Wandleuchten and was surprised by the range—they’ve got everything from minimal styles to more quirky stuff.
