Housing on Maternity pay

I am currently living with my mother and I have a 1 month old baby. I am on maternity pay but need to move out and rent a place of my own. Is this even possible? I'm unsure if I am eligible for help.

You can go to the council who will help due to low income, however as you are not deemed homeless you won't get something quickly

If your maternity pay is low enough, you will also be eligible for UC.
