High Quality Door Furniture

So 15 years ago we moved into a house that was very much in need of. We gutted it including new doors and door furniture. We just went to wickes for the door handles but over the years have had no end of trouble with them needing fixing. We want to wholesale replace them all but this time want something built to last.
Grateful if anyone knows where we should be looking for replacement handles that will hold up better.

Heritage Brass, Carlisle Brass Frelan Hardware, Fortessa and Atlantic are all good companies. It might be worth replacing the latches too though as you can get the most expensive door handle in the world but it won't work properly if you have poor quality latches.

It seems to be a spring inside that breaks though some of the handles look tatty. Planning to replace the whole shibang.

When we replaced our doors we used these, in nickel. Can’t comment on longevity as they’ve only been on 6 months, but they feel very heavy and sturdy with no flimsy plastic innards…
