Any conveyancing experts?

In the process of buying a house. I stupidly hired one of the national firms to do the converyancing. They are useless. Never answer the phone or email. They say two of the searches have been returned but the other two haven’t despite them getting ordered months ago.

Can I do the remaining searches myself? I’m trying to find a new conveyancer to take over, but the ones I’ve contacted are reluctant to take over from another firm.

any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Have you made a complaint? I would look at their complaints process and start that . It may mean someone more senior takes a look

Generally speaking the only search that's likely to take any real time is the local authority search, and that varies by local area.
