What kitchen cabinet doors to minimise fingerprints and marks?

About to redo kitchen and I wanted black cabinets, ideally stained rather than painted, but can't find this anywhere. I've been told black painted cabinets really show fingerprints and grease.

Alternatively I'd go for white.
Current kitchen is white IKEA gloss which weirdly doesn't show marks, but I hate it and it doesn't go with the house, which is Edwardian.

Any advice on finishes that do or don't show marks?

Likely to be inframe and either shaker or slab, not sure.

I have Matt White and don't see fingerprints at all . I have had grey in the past and they showed everything !

I agree matt white. I was told firmly by my fitter not to have a black glass splashback as it would show every mark. And several people I know have gloss white and that also shows fingermarks. I rarely need to wipe my cupboard doors.

Ok so white-ish eggshell painted sounds like a win, rather than black stained/painted.

It’s not necessarily about the colour as much as the material, yes gloss black splashbacks will show everything, but that’s mainly because it’s gloss and glass not because it’s black. If you can buy the doors you want in bare wood and find a local sprayer to spray them in a severe use two pack lacquer you can have them stained or painted any colour and you shouldn’t see finger marks. I would advise a sheen of either 10 or 20% but no higher.
