Where to get baths from

So we’ve been recommended Vado for taps, and I know where I want my basin from, but where to get a bath from?! It’s a minefield and I’ve no idea what I’m looking for (although I do know type & measurements). Any recommendations?

Do you not want a bath from the same range as your sink and toilet? I picked our bath first, and then got the sink and toilet from the same range (all Burlington)

Honestly I have literally no clue where to start!! I am fairly sure I want a reclaimed cabinet style sink and I know a company that does these so maybe I’m after just a bath!

I have just been through this. Your first choice is if you want a steel bath, acrylic or reinforced acrylic, which will depend on your personal preference and floorboards ! Then you will need to decide how deep a bath you want , and if you want single or double ended ( with slopes) and then round or square. Once you have filtered all of these, you can begin to look around. I have used Bette and Kaldewei for steel baths, Carron ( carronite) for reinforced acrylic and normal acrylic. You want at least 6mm, preferably 8 or 10mm acrylic to prevent movement . Duravit and V&B are reliable brands if you want your sanitary ware to match. I would look on Victorian Plumbing not Victoria Plum, ebay, trade merchants and Heat and Plumb.
