Parking drama!

So I live in 4 in a block.
Above us has a driveway... with lines in front..they have extended them a little but not by much

Next door has 3 big vans...

We have one car one small van..

Next door have reported above neighbour to council for the lines. So nothing to do with myself.

Next door now have been playing silly buggers with parking, we now have 3 big vans parked randomly outside the block with not enough space for anyone else to get parked between them.

Am I making a mountain out a molehill and thinking it would be easier for all of them just to park normally be kind to neighbours and leave room for them all to park?

Can’t have a parking thread without a badly drawn, indecipherable drawing. It does sound like neighbour is being an arse though, also if they have 3 large vans surely they can’t expect to have all of them parked right by the property?

Here we go this is how it used to work, neighbour above me would park on their line or in their driveway

Tonight the said neighbour with three van blasted his horn as my partner was trying to park as if to say that's mh space your parking in. Never met people like this

right.

Is this on public roads or within a private development?
If in public roads, and everyone is parked legally, there's not much you can do.
If it's a private development, do the properties have allocated spaces? Not sure what you mean by 'lines' - marked parking bays? Is there a management company?

And does your phone not have a flash?!

Sorry it didn't look as dark as it was till I checked this morning 😂

It's a public road, and its the white lines council or company would paint infront of driveway to stop people blocking/parking on driveway.

If you live underground I am not sure why parking is an issue

so is it -
the neighbours who have a driveway have extended the council drawn white line that prevents people blocking them out of their driveway. This means that it is tight to get another 5 vehicles parked on the road but doable if everyone parks up close.
3 big van owner is also playing silly buggers and spreading out so that you can’t all get in.

Maybe wait until your power cut is over and post again, or try two candles.
