Temporarily living elsewhere... who do I need to tell?

We're about to be living somewhere temporarily, we've set up mail redirection, but who do we absolutely and legally need to inform? We've sorted utilities, insurance, council tax, phone etc. is there anyone else that can't wait until we move into our new house in Feb/March?
Driving licence and car tax people?
Thanks

DVLA for driving licence and car registration, and then car insurance to match the address on your car docs.

Are you still in the same GP catchment area, or close enough to use your old GP, even if you are not technically in their area? I wouldn't bother changing GPs or dentists
just for a couple of months.

Unfortunately you need to change your drivers licence and v5 document though I'm sure many don't

It is very quick and easy to do online these days.

Thank you, that confirms what I think. Probably need to do drivers licence, car insurance and car tax people. Won't bother with other stuff.

People are probably right, but for such I short time i wouldnt bother. Some people go on holiday for longer than that. I think my insurance allows me to be out of the property for up to 90 days without informing them (but I could be wrong - might only be 30).

why would you need to tell “dentist”?
NHS dentistry don’t enforce catchment areas which is part of the problem and if you’re a private patient carry on being a private patient, you should make your recall appointments at your last appointment anyway and if you don’t recalls are normally done by text and email- and OP’s done a redirection 🤔

Are you just Air bnb ing/renting during renovations or something like that? Then your primary and permanent residence hasn't changed surely? If that's the case I wouldn't bother changing anything except mail redirection. Everything else is surely online.

I may have misunderstood though...

OP refers to moving into "our new house" so it sounds like they are renting then moving somewhere else, not back to the original house.

If we find out your address is wrong on your gp records, you run the risk of being removed.

But why does that matter? If moving house you'd need to switch over anyway at some point. In the meantime id just keep the old address until you've moved into the new one. (Or they somehow find out... no idea how they would do this if you dont tell them!) Otherwise you'll be constantly faffing about changing to the middle address and then on again, will end up needing 2 sets of redirects with the post office etc.

Just my opinion anyway.
