Hi
planing a new kitchen. Chosen neffs slide and hide oven. Should I bother with pyrolitic option? It’s £87 extra.

We’ve got Neff hide and slide with the pyrolitic function and I’ve been too nervous to use it. Kitchen full of smoke, cupboards or surrounds getting damaged, that sort of thing. Any advice?

We have never had any smoke from ours, it does get warm in front of the oven when using the pyrolytic function where you have a glass door but don’t feel any heat in the cupboards either side as the sides of the oven are we’ll insulated

We have never had smoke. There’s a faint metallic smell but it goes quickly.

as to quooker
yes
but needs servicing every 2 years. I didn’t realise (stopped working) and using a kettle gave me the rage. Now I book in service well in advance!
