Finding old EA details of houses sold fairly recently

Sometimes on the property threads on MN, a poster will have found previous photos and EA particulars on the house being discussed.

Where do you find these please? I'm trying to find some for a house sold only two years ago.

Thanks.

You can either look on Rightmove or Zoopla. Click on the "House prices" tab, search for an individual property or area and then it will show all the sold prices from the last twenty years. For some of these there will also be old photos.

For example, this one shows photos from when the house was previously listed on Rightmove in 2013

If you don't find it on either of the above, I use a telegram extension thing called property bot. You put in the postcode and it shows you all previous archived Rightmove adverts for sales and rentals going back to I think around 2008ish. If you're wary of downloading it (my DH is always suspicious of telegram 😅) DM me the postcode and I can send you the old archived ad if there aren't too many sold that year to sift through.

Mouseprice.com shows all previous houses sold by postcode.

Mouseprice.com shows all previous houses sold by postcode.

That site says my house has 27 bedrooms!

Other than that, it's pretty accurate.
