Where are you located? I'm in the North West and my friend has just had the most beautiful kitchen by a local company called Kemp. It was a big job like yours and the company managed the whole thing for them. Here's a link if you're near me :)

It's budget dependent, but you could always try a local joiner. We had the fitted part of our kitchen designed, made and fitted by a local joiner. Can tend to be more on the expensive side but I think it's worth it.

We are in a small town Essex, so a bit limited, some smaller kitchen suppliers can be quite expensive, interested in Yew Tree, anyone used them . We thought we had a really good budget, so was quite shocked that we havent.

Look at outside the box options like Plykea, DIY and Naked Kitchens. All were options we considered and honestly if DIY had done the colour I’d fallen in love with I’d have gone with them. As it was I loved Naked kitchens but also a big job and getting them to do the whole lot would have cost a fortune but they will do doors to fit onto ikea or howdens carcasses which brings down the cost. We had howdens carcasses, Naked Kitchens Doors and worktop done in microcement by Bespoke Concrete. I utterly adore my kitchen and didn’t travel anywhere to get it done

Oh I see, very far from me then! Sorry I can't help re Yew Tree, but I know what you mean about the expense. I need a new shower room- a tiny shower room- and It'll cost me a fortune seemingly wherever I go. Have you got a local facebook group for your town? Mine is a constant feed of "can you recommend a (tradesperson)?" It could help get to know which local builders, etc are out there.
