Great Barr vs Hamstead

Viewed a house which is listed as 'Great Barr' by EA, but on google map it seems to be in Hamstead.

Tried googling boundaries of both areas but no luck. How does one know for sure when considering houses?

Really like the house but don't know much about Hamstead area (north), any feedback will be much appreciated!

Hamstead is part of Great Barr - I was born there. It was always considered the posher part of GB but I moved away many years ago. If you like the house and have had a look around the area then surely go for it.

Hamstead is closer to Handsworth Wood. Good area for bus transport into town and the train station is at Hamstead.
