Hello all, moved into a new build property a few months ago and was having a good clean yesterday I wiped the top of my kitchen cupboard and found this hole.. Just wanted to know if I should call the builder up to come and fix it don't think this should be left like this.

Email them the photos and ask when they can come out to fix this.

You'd think there should be some kind of electrical point in there rather than a cable pulled through a hole in the wall!

Have a look round and see if there is anything else needing done at the same time.

Any kind of hole can cause problems (heat damp vermin) so if for any reason they can't fix it I'd be getting a mate to sort it with a bit of something glued or screwed etc over it. Nobody will see.

Definitely ask them to come and fill in. It looks like the cable comes out of the wall, where does it go then?
