Can I time this kitchen renovation to take advantage of Black Friday?

I would like to finally redo my kitchen. So far I have done no research into it apart from booking an appointment with an Ikea kitchen planner. I know Black Friday is around the corner - is it doable if I make a few other appointments with other kitchen suppliers and make up my mind about what I want to buy everything in the sales and hopefully get someone to install it soon after or does that timeline seem a bit rushed? I live in a tiny flat so I don't have room to be storing all the kitchen stuff for very long.

No.
Don't even attempt it.

Oh man, would the Xmas/NY sales be more realistic?

I would say so. Don't rush something like a kitchen a d end up making expensive mistakes to save a few quid.

I'd find.a fitter first and workout a timescale with them.

That's a good point! I will look for a fitter first then in that case.

I used to be a kitchen designer and the discounts after Christmas will be better than Black Friday. The busiest time of the year is December to the end of January (more so January) hold out until then and you will get a better deal. You can always start the process now and then get them to hold until January and reprice with the current deals

When you say 'get them to hold' do you mean whoever I order my kitchen from? Can I do that?

You can go in and have the design appointments and get everything exactly how you want it. They then will probably get a bit pushy for you to buy and will tell you that these are the best deals (they have targets they have to hit) tell them that you want the design and quote left on file for after Christmas. Get them to reprice your quote in January when the new deals hit. January has always been the best price and all the companies go into competition with each other. The deals sometimes change during January so don't be rushed to buy on the 1st of the month

Black Friday is essentially a scan various consumer programmes suggest better deals are available at any time.

That is such a great tip. Thanks @RayahB! Will book some more design appointments in...

People always say this but I've definitely picked up some bargains in the BF sales
