Short Bath Recommendations (stylish if possible)

Even though we've extended our bathroom, we still need a short bath.

I love the egg shaped baths, but can't give it the room it needs, so trying to get the look but with a back to the wall option.

But how enjoyable is a bath in a short tub?

I was just about to say Japanese bath!

We have a short bath (1200) purely for the kids. Absolutely diabolical for adults. I'm of v average height and it is not relaxing at all. Fortunately I prefer to shower!

We have a Japanese soaking tub and I absolutely love it and will definitely miss it when we move house. It’s so relaxing and the water stays hot

I have an omnitub. Very comfortable.

Redid a tiny bathroom which had a huge cornerbath/shower combo overtaking the room.
Only 1 person could stand in bathroom at the time
Replaced it with a short Kaldewei 1400mm tub.

Not that you would, floorspace was now enough for 3.
Tub long enough to lie in, obvs you couldn't stretch your legs like in a 1800mm one but still enough to relax in.
Tap end had a non slip treatment plus big overhead showerhead+handheld smaller one to rinse hair etc ( Hans Grohe ).
Best compromise for a very tall family, tiny space.

What about a short slipper bath? Very stylish 😎

I like the idea of a slipper bath! I'll show my plumber today.

Thanks for the Japanese tub suggestions l, they look great, but just not the aesthetic I was going for.

Thanks all 🙌

How short is short? Mine is a freestanding 1550/1600 I think so not very long. I do find it's a bit wider though which makes up for it a bit.

No more than 1500, have seen some slipper baths at 1400. Am going to go and sit in one at a showroom this week.

We have an 1195cm tub (like the slipper bath above) which works great for us as infrequent bathers (to clarify, we shower!) but I don’t think anyone who wants regular baths and is over 5ft 5 would like it 🙈
Company we bought it from are unfortunately winding down their operations otherwise I would 100% recommend them
