What's the best course of action with these? We're moving into a house with them in every room (even under the stairs, on the slanted underside of the steps!) and while I could put up with them for a bit, DH absolutely detests them and wants them gone ASAP, so not a room at a time.
We both have slight shoulder mobility issues so I don't see us managing to do it ourselves. Or is it something you can tackle with a long handled scraper, without having your hands up that high?
Which trade would do this - I've seen both plasterer and painter mentioned online, though if it's something people can potentially do themselves, I would have thought they were both slightly overqualified?!
