Hi all - I was in the market for a top floor 2 bed in west/south Hampstead for a while (want to get only top floors in flats). I saw this and put an offer of 595k which was accepted. RICS survey being done today and will get results in a week. Exchange will happen end of this month.

Given its one of the biggest purchases in a lifetime, getting a bit worried whether i bought something too close to Kilburn, a deprived area - affecting potential value later. What is your opinion please?

Can’t help with the area although family member lived off Finchley Road 10 min walk from West Hampstead station and left nearly 10 years ago. No children. She seemed to like it there. Love the south and west facing windows in lounge. And pretty street lined road. Wise to go for top floor. Family member bought a top floor flat after moving from Finchley Road.

It's a fab location, super close to West Hampstead high street. Kilburn is fine. Congratulations with your purchase!
