shower sponges/scrunchies where to store?

We are in the middle of having a bathroom renovation. The bath is coming out and a walk in shower put in its place. There is a 400x300 niche/recess being put in for bottles etc so we don't have to have the hanging storage caddies. Thing is...where do people store their sponges/scrunchies/squeegees as they won't all fit in the niche. Do I put some sucker hooks at the walk in end to keep them out of the way of the 'wet end' or is there another solution. I don't really want them hanging off the valves but not sure where they can go otherwise?

I only have a squeegee out of the stuff you've listed, but I have it this one on suckers inside the shower- https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000NZKHKU/ref=ppxyodtbsearchasintitle?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You'd want to hang the sponges anyway surely as they would stay damp and gross just put in the niche?

I have butterfly suction hooks bought years ago from lidl or aldi

I’m not a fan of suction hooks. I think they look ugly and always fall off 😂 I have tiny coat hooks (actually they are tiny cylinders with a notch in the top rather than spiky hooks). The fitter drilled into the grout to install them rather than the tiles to avoid the risk of cracking a tile. Or maybe you could pre drill tiles before installation? If you aren’t bothered about permanence, you could use something like “no more nails” to glue them. Maybe some kind of command hook?
